Well guys I pulled a bonehead move today. I headed out to Lake Superior to fish and as I got the boat ready I must have forgot to tighten the screws on 1 of my downriggers. In a hurry I guess to finally get out there. So anyway when I got down to the access I realized that one of my riggers is gone. I felt sick to my stomach, not the way to start the day. We sent somone back to look right away but no luck.

So if anyone hears about someone finding a downrigger please let me know.

The downrigger is a Big Jon Manual with the 4 ft boom and a rod holder on a 4" pursuit swivel base. I live on 194 and took Midway Rd to Hermantown Rd to Piedmont and then down 53 to Rices Point.

Any help would greatly be apprecciated. I may even offer a small reward if found. Thanks.

Wow, sorry to hear of your loss Marshall. And I thought I felt bad after losing a Pursuit rod holder last year after not screwing it down.

Thanks guys but I am thinking it won't turn up. Guess I will have to start upgrading to electrics sooner. Only good thing about it I guess.

No add yet Frank and I have thought about it. And I scoured the ditches twice with no luck.

Check the pawn shops and Craigs List. Seems like all the "Hot" stuff winds up at them places lately.

Shoot me an email at Erikh45@hotmail.Com. I couldn't send you a PM I haven't found the downrigger, but I have an idea.
