Outdoor Cable Channel usually has a nice mix bag of Hunting/Fishing programs. No shortage of Babe and company!

Midwest Outdoors usually does ice shows this time of year. And next year I know there will be an Ice Only show at least for 6 episodes.

Versus and ESPN have some decent shows on from time to time, but the ice fishing is real hit and miss. I caught a rather boring ice show early Sunday too. Think it was maybe on Mille Lacs and they were tip up fishing and jigging, they got a coupla walters anyhows! Not sure what show it was and the fishers were'nt anyone I've seen before?? I think the show your talking about is called In-Depth Fishing or something like that. I have to agree, it's not a real exciting show to watch.

Sunday morning I saw Butch pulling lake trout through the ice on superior. Now that you mention it, they are hard to come by though.

Kent Hrbeck ice fished White Bear this week. That was kinda cool, but they caught nata. They did use those portable ice houses on wheels that float if you break through (can't remember what they're called).

It's sad, but every fishing show has been replaced by info-mercials. I guess the Ronco food dehydrator and the gizmo weight loss diets are more profitable for the public tv stations.

I had to laugh just skimming the forum and seeing the post title. What could they show on tv about ice fishing??? I have to say though it would be WAY better than any infomercial. No offense guys. Most of the stuff on TV now days is just blah. Look at me now. This forum is more entertaining than anything on tv right now, and I'm not much of a fisherman.
