Ah ya gotta love fish tales.. I thought it was 2 boats, 8 guys and 145 for a total!!! Pretty sure I saw you on Thursday Crazy one. Poor Harv was a 1 boat and 3 guys guy!

I like the Medium action 6'6" also. My question for everyone is what does everyone prefer in the $50ish range. As much as I want, I still can't justify $130+ for one rod.

why is it that everytime I use floaters all I catch is Bullheads? I don't get it. How do you fellas rig them. Do you use three way swivels with a weight on the bottom? Thanks.

I typically use brighter colors when targeting rainbows. More natural colors usually for browns and brookies.

Basic short story on not getting a glass boat....HVAC system went kaput, had to replace, money for new glass boat gone.

you guys like useing braided line? i normally use 10/2 powerpro for jigging but i might but some flourocarbon in 6lb for a leader if the water is that clear.

I think ottertail has a good idea, but what do you do when you start reeling a fish in and that bobber stop gets caught on the top guide on your rod? Happens to me all the time ice fishing..
