I planned on hitting the water on Saturday, but the wife had to go to work for a few hours. So, I changed my plans and fished Sunday afternoon.

The plan was to setup for walleye and jig for perch while I was waiting for the sun to go down. This was a new location for me, so I started by punching 70-80 holes to find the breaks I was looking for.

Long story short, I got schooled, but I'm not sure what I learned. No walleye, but a ton of perch annoying the crap out of me but tripping my tip-ups. I did get one pike, thank goodness for old reliable. Looks like I need to spend some more time studing my charts.

Here is the pike. The photo quality is not great because I had to do the tripod thing and could only take a couple shots.

Thanks Paul. I always say that I'd rather be lucky then good......So far I'm neither. I'll keep trying.
