Did any modifications have to be done prior to adding the camper to the 1/2 ton truck?

No modifications were made to the truck. I hauled it on a 2000 F-150 4.6 litre V8, with manual 5 speed transmission. Handled fine, and no problems keeping up with the flow of traffic. Camper weight is 935 lbs without water in tank, or gear.

wallabee,
It is a pop up camper so it does not heat as well as a hard sided camper, also the original furance does not work, I had the propane discontected and capped. There was a leak in the furnace, I didn't want to fix it. I have used the camper during October for duck hunting, it was cold enough to have frost on things outside. For heat I used a buddy heater on low all night and slept very comfortable and so did my brother on the lower bed. How do I send you pictures.

Wallabe,

I sent pictures to your E-Mail. It has been a great camper for my wife and I. traveled all over the great state of MN with it. The reason for selling is we started a family, its just to small for 3 people and a 120lb Lab. Give me a call if you have futher interest.
