I think you guys call them touges. I know that from the few outdoor shows I've seen from your area. Anyway I'm a laker nut, through the ice or open water it doesn't matter. Your area reminds me of Northern Mn and the remoteness of some of your lake Trout water has me thinking it be a great place to visit.
A lot of our Steelhead techniques here on the Great Lakes were adopted from the West Coast. Anyway I'm always looking to expand my fishing with new ideas and I'm and curious as to lures and techniques you guys use in the Northeast for Lakers under the ice.

hello there, i am from minnesota, use to live in maine man of fact in waterboro area, lakers there r fun to get, i miss my home state of maine, fishing was better with clear water, here in the mid west its brown muddy waters during the summer time and then clear in the winter time.
