Just a reminder to those who may not be familiar with White Bear Lake. There is a 35 mph speed limit on that lake. It is posted at the landing, but if your like me you don't always pay attention to those minor details... We had the pleasure of meeting the Sheriff patrol on Sunday... Who would of thought they would chase you all the way across the lake just to chat ... Picked up a few helpful tips on the lake, so it wasn't all bad ..

I'm hoping for low winds to keep all of those sailboats in the harbor next weekend. Sunday was really peaceful out there...

There is a bait shop on the intersection of 61 and 96, within a mile of the Ramsey park landing.

Any ideas about what's going on after the tourney? Visit a local establishment or do something at the lake. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We should definetly plan something - the park by the ramp sounds good to me.

Just want to make sure. We are launching at the Ramsey Co Park ramp, right?

Correct, it is at the Ramsey Cty. Park. Looks like a nice park to hang out at afterwards as well for those interested.

I plan on bringing a cooler and I feel confident that a few barley pops will sneak their way in to keep all that ice company. If anyone wants to bring a grill I can bring a pack or two of hallibut also.
