What are we going to run for event times on Big Pine? I know on Rush we started a half hour early since it was getting dark earlier,..I don't have a problem fishing in dark, but sunset for the Big Pine event is around 7:40 or so,..if we don't want to fish in the dark than I suggest we run from 11am-3pm, 4pm-8pm Sat and keep Sunday the same, 7am-11am and noon to 4.

I make this suggestion now because this will impact what time people arrive Sat am if they plan on coming in the morning.

Yeah, I agree. Sunset will be 7:48 p.m. Times were getting a bit confusing when we were trying to prepare, and I always seem to miss the most important announcements!

Which access are we going to use? There is one on the far SE shore, which is a longer drive to get to and kind of in the middle of "nowhere".
I would recommend the two ramp access on the west/NW shore, just south of the Otter Tail River inlet to Big Pine Lake.

Which resort are people staying at on the lake?

CD, I may be mistaken, but I think we are going to start at the resort, I think it is Jungle Shores.

Paul or Tom? Are we going to start and have weigh-in at Jungle Shores Resort?

I'm not even sure the name of the resort. But yes, we will start wherever that is...lol.
As far as the times, lets plan on going 11am to 3pm, then 4 to 8pm. Sunday same as always.

Tom, you may want to e-mail everyone or try and contact everyone about the start time for Sat, I am sure some people will be showing up just in time, so we should probably notify everyone if we ar going to start an hour earlier than normal.

And I guess for next season we should probably make this the normal start time? And if we want or need to fish later we can break for two hours instead of one and allow everyone to fish until dark. By fixing the starting time regardless of sunset, and adjusting the break time we can allow for the differences in day light without constantly changing the start time on everyone each event. This will keep some consistancy.

We will start at Jungle Shores at 11am on Sat. Meeting will be at 10. You can use any access on the lake and drive over to the resort. I have been WAY busy the last 3 weeks so sorry if I am just getting to this now.
See you there
