Hi All,

I am a college student and am looking for something exciting for the summer. I have had a few close friends enjoy working in Alaska during the past few summers and thought that would be a great thing to check out. Do you have any experience up there? If so, it would be very helpful if you could provide guidance on how/where I should begin my job search.

Thanks! it is appreciated.

Tom

I was in Seward in August and Miller's Landing had a sign posted looking for help in 2010. Millers has boat rentals, guided fishing an kayak trips, campground, cabins, etc. Seward is a cool town and even has some decent nightlife. The Kenia Peninsula has enough to offer to keep you busy on your off days. Miller's has a website. There are lots of other businesses including charter boats looking for seasonal help as well.
