We got a 3 pointer today that still had all the velvet on. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them or have seen that this late in the year? We are deffenitly saving the rack as to this is a rare occurense. and nobody in our gruop has ever seen this.

Never seen that, but I did shoot a buck last year during muzzy season that had just dropped it's antlers. Holes were still bloody... Early?

Typically a buck still in velvet this time of year is missing his boy parts. LOL

The bucks did drop their antlers early last year. My dad feeds all winter and we never saw an antlered buck at the feeder all winter. Sometimes they keep their antlers into March at my dad's.

it could have been a antlered doe because if they do grow antlers they never harden.

Cactus buck. Malformed testicles.
They grow up to be whoppers.
