Another vote for the Ice-55. I am not saying it is the only one, but I like it!

I believe the Ice 55 is a lot of bang for the buck. Ill be running one this winter. I really like the auto digital depth read out as well as all the colors you can select.

Never used the 55 or fl20 but I bought a 45 last year and used it next to a fl12 and I love my 45. I just wasn't sure if the extra colors were worth the extra money.

Forgot to mention that if you go with a hbird make sure you DON'T use the transducer support cable they send with it.

Why not, if you hook it up right it works just fine.

I have a FL 20 and ICE35 and like them both, i'm sure the 45 and 55 are better but I bought the 35 as a back and ended up using it almost as much as Vex.
I'm also for ditching the extra cable on the bird. Just a hassle IMO.

A friend of mine got the 55 and I shortly after got the 45.. the color thing is not worth any extra cash IMO but to each his own. Don't remember if the protective soft case comes with the 55 or if you still have to buy that extra but they are nice. I don't have one yet.

Very quiet operation
Easy to use
NO Interferance Problems...

I also took the extra cable off.. my understanding is the only reason it is put on there is because there is a patent on the self leveling transducer like a vexilar. Not 100% sure on this.
MarCum doesn't use it but they have the arm thing.
