Has anyone had any experience with these guys? Im thinking about ordering a custom ice rod for Christmas and I want your opinion on them. I have talked to Kris at lake lady rods and they are another one of my options. Just scouting around right now and checking out all of the possibilities.

I don't know anything about DLF rods.

I have seen Kris's work from LakeLady Rods and I would have to say Kris is one ofKris does beautiful work and one gets a rod built custom built for them.

Whomever the rod is for, they will be happy with a LakeLady custom rod.

They turn their own handles down there out of about any kind of wood you can dream up! They are the ones who taught me what I know about rod building. I would not hesitate one bit to order one from them! Very good quality work, and it will be a true "one of a kind" rod with every handle turning out a little different!

Wait until you see that in person on the glass blank!! It will look sharp! What kind of wood did you go with? Cedar?
