Hello all. I'm looking to get some info from you all as to what the best hand held GPS would be for the metro/north east metro area for ice fishing. I'm looking to get one with the lake map option. The lake map option is not required if anyone has used another type with the same luck.

Thanks for your help.

Do you really want the best money can buy, or a nice GPS that will work.
Lowrance H20 with lake map chip works good for me.

Yeah the lowrance H2o sounds like a good way to go. How much was yours with the card? And where'd you get it? Also how much area/ how many lakes does the card cover?

H2Os are on clearance right now! They aren't making them anymore....but with out a doubt...for the money it is a no-brainer! You can get a chip that is a couple of years old for 30-40 bucks.....and you can get an H20 for under $170 right now....even cheaper at the bargain cave at Cabela's if they have one in stock!

Lowrance is still sending out new H2O units.

An H20c and a LakeMaster card is a great way to go for metro lakes, that is probably going to be the best combination of quality lake maps and the best price you will find.

We carry them at Pro Fishing Supply, you can check them out and our low pricing and free shipping HERE.

What is the deal with the H2Oc. Fleet Farm said lowrance was going to stop making them. But maybe fleet is just not stocking them anymore?
