I am planning to hunt some WMAs around Tyler, MN on Sat. Coming from the cities, so just wondering if there is any corn down around the area yet? I assume not. Has anyone hunted this area? Any bird reports would be helpful. Just wondering if there are any birds around in the WMAs or if they are all still holding tight in the corn. Any info. would be appreciated. Thanks.

Be careful! Deer gun opener and these people get just nine days to get their deer.

Would imagine if you are walking a WMA for deer, that someone will decide to post and wait for you to push 'em their way.

Some WMAs also get pushed by large local groups of hunters via drives. You do not want to get caught in the middle.

I also avoid WMAs during deer hunting in SW MN.

On a good note at least a little of the corn has come down.
