What kind of price range would you expect? Does it matter what kind of bird?

Breeds of ducks typically do not change the fee. Now, the scene you have included in it will. Standing or flying could also be different in price.

Geese of course are nmore than ducks.

Two years ago a big duck (mallard, can, etc.) was about $275 at an established place. I think he said the price was changing to $300. I know another was done at a smaller shop/private guy and that cost about $225.

Good luck, that should give you idea to start at anyway. These were for flying and sort of banked to show both the breast from the bottom but also the color on wings, like they are turning right in front of you, with a simple driftwood piece behind it.

I will only take my birds to Flyway taxidermy. Jerry does the best work I have ever seen. He charges $350. I have two drake pintails and a snow goose I need to bring to him. Gonna have to work some overtime.

I had a Bufflehead mounted a couple years ago (flying) and it ran a little over $200 i think. Great mount done by a Guy on Waconia who runs his business out of his home.
