Anybody get out there this weekend and happen to notice the temps on Alex?! I would have to guess with the recent warm weather that it has been sky-rocketing lately.

Any effect on the bite at all?

Uper 60's now. With the warm days ahead should push it into the 70's

69 last nite on south side. 73 on north side. Getting fish here and there. No real pattern yet tho.

Hows the milfoil look?? Have they been spraying it yet?? When they do I go out to 40 feet and start throwing topwater!!

Water temp was 75/76 today as of noon. Alex was flat calm and it was hot as heck out there. We really saw alot of fish, and some dandies too, but unfortunately they were all lazy buggers.

Milfoil is still down under the surface in most areas. No spraying yet that I know of? I've been out there quite a few times, and with all the calm weather lately, there is floating weeds and scum everywhere with no wind to push it around. I've tried it a little, but using the topwater has been pretty tough under these conditions.

I've been out quite a bit, finally got one today. Small one on shammy, maybe 38". Been seeing a few, a couple almosts, and my wife should've had one, but messed up on the 8.

gonna be hittin up Alexander for a couple days at the end of the month......Is there a night bite out there at all mid-summer???

We were on Alexander June 24th or 25th and they were pumping pellets into the lake as fast as they could to control the milfoil....

Night bite is already working. Couple buddies were out and picked up to the other night. They have also been getting them right after the sunsets, around the 1030pm mark.
