I had to give it a shot after Dbl posted what to try. My SX10IS only has a 10 second delay so I used the old S2IS that has a 2 second delay. 4 seconds at 5.6FS. ISO 100. And I did set the focus on infinity. No background, just fireworks. Here are some of my favorites from the night. Thanks for the hints!!
