Has anyone been out on Cedar Island Lake/East Lake in Richmond? Will be in the area in a month and wanted to check and see how people have been doing on it this year.

you can catch nice sunnies of cedar island the east side of the cedar island and straight across on that point you can catch walleyes and cats...have fun....leeches did not work the best, minnows did the trick using white or blue jigs with slip bobber...good luck....

I caught a nice 24 inch walleye on Cedar Island on the eastern side earlier this spring using leaches. Besides that it was pretty quiet.

Just wanted to check and see if anyone had any updates on the lake as we will fishing it this next week. Looks like the weather should be nice as well.
