Is it worth trying to fish from shore around Stillwater? Not necessarily right down town, but between there and the boom site north, and the power plant south. Thanks for any advice!

I went to the south stillwater power plant. Not many Whities around there. Channels are doing pretty good, seen a couple of guys catching them left and right, and the channels don't seem to like cut bait. Buffalos a hitting on spoons and will give you quite a fight. Folks are using night crawlers to pull in walleyes, little action now. 87% of the action will end at noon, so come during sunrise.
