I saw several open Island campsites yesterday and it's the 4th of July so I would think you should have no problem during mid week.

Any chance you could do one of those nifty maps for the hinsdale island sites? I tried to imagine where the more desirable ones were from the descriptions, but I can't get a good idea from the DNR map I'm looking at.

Any campsite recommendations for mostly muskie fishing, we'll only be in a 20hp so the better the chances closer to a campsite, the better for us on bigger water!

Where did you get that map caseymcq? Is it online somewhere?
Also one last question. There is 5 of us going in 2 boats. Do some of the "good sites" have a spot large enough for a really big tent of do you think we are better off just breaking into 3 smaller tents. (my buddy has a 6 man that would probably sleep 4 in it and I would just find a place for my solo tent which generally is pretty easy.)

Hoodoo Pt campground or McKinley park on the east end.. I think there may be 1 or 2 on the West end..
