I wanted to send a thank you to the good samaritian that helped my girlfriend and I tonight pull my truck off the launch at Cannon Lake when the 4WD would not engage. Thank you for helping us out and saving us a tow truck fee, many frustations, and allowed me to get the kd out fishing.

Side note for others, beware there is a nasty drop on the first launch at Schafer Park. I would say impossible to get out of without 4wd.

Great to hear there is still some helpful sportsmen out there.

Lots of landings around the area are getting shallower, it pays to take a minuet to check it out before backing the boat in.

No kidding - we were on Lura this week - and it's shallow. I only have a 2wd, and got on some "seaweed" on the landing and spun pretty hard getting out. My son thought it was great that I smoked the tires, but I was a little nervous.

When we are kids or have kids, they think it is so cool to "smoke the tires" what they do not nor did i when I was a kid that now i will have to replace my tires sooner than expected. Oh but would it not be so great to be a kid again.
Latenight, how come your 4 wheel would not engage? did you figure it out?

How was the bite?

I am looking to take the kid somewhere new. White bass would be fun. Could be good for pike too.

All Wheel Drive on 35's, winch etc.. Not worried about the ramp.
