Does anybody know were a good place is to take a rod in to get an eye fixed or replaced? I could have it sent to the company to have it replaced, but I would rather have it done locally so I don't have to wait a month to get it back. It’s the 3rd eye from the top, does anybody know what something like that would cost to fix?

Any of the box stores will replace a tip for you.

You can also by the tip kit and do it yourself, it is not that hard to do.

I've done tips before, but it is the 3rd eye down from the tip.

My guess on the eye(sorry I did'nt catch that) would be to hit Joes or TB they should be able to help.

i second thorne bros. ive had them do a few. always while i wait as well. and the couple ice rods i have from them they did for free. ive been to joes but never had them repair anything, very knowledgable. guess it depends where you live and what not. as for price when ive had thorne's do a couple tips it was fairly cheap, but that doesnt involve thread.
