I drove by on Friday and most of the west side of the lake was still open water. I would hope it completely froze over with the cold we had this weekend. Unfortunately if it did freeze over it's probably pretty thin over there and the snow won't help things. Please be careful if you venture past the middle of the lake coming from the public access. I heard people were all over on the east side and there was 5-6". Come on below zero temps to make more ice.

Was out there today, 3-6 pm. Walked about 300 ft from the boat launch and there was 6" of ice. But 10 ft further out, it was only 2". O.o
Fishing was slow...saw one blip on the flasher and that was as hot as the action got.
