how much ice is out on pelican? might be heading to the cabin this weekend just curious what it looks like for fishing

I walked out on Jones Bay on Sunday and there was 5 inches. People were fishing there and on the resort bay. I plan to go out Saturday, probably try the north or south end. Be careful, even today there is still patchs of open water on the main lake.

On Wednesday night I had 6" on the south end. There is still open water in the middle part of the lake. Good Luck!

Thanks ya i will be fishing the first main break on the north end by cree bay since my cabin is right there to bad we cant get out to the reefs in the middle
