I could hear a ton of them lastnight by a local lake in Rosemount, and im talking loud I wanted to drive by and see but I didn't. Im thinking about going out to Marion today anyone else?

Drove by Marion today and checked it out from the launch. A few people out tipuping it looked like. Ice looks very sketchy to the right of the launch out near the deep hole, almost looked like some open water. Be careful to anyone who ventures over that way. Was gonna come out this weekend but going up to chisago instead.

i fished out there tonight and there was about 5 inches out there

tonight we caught around 6 or 7 crappies all about 7 iches and a couple of sunnies. no flags tonight but we usually get one or two a night

Were you by the boat launch or out by the deep hole? Maybe what i was seeing was just windblown clear ice or something

heres a pic of our biggest pike on saturday caught by geppy. we caught 2 small bass and 2 pike. i also had a really nice northern on but i was stupid and didnt have a leader on and she tore right through my 25 pound braided line
