Yesterday about 2pm I saw that Belle and Washington were both ice covered. The north half of Stella was still open.

was over by winsted today seen one guy out with portable on winsted. headed over to ida, star, emma, ann and dog lake most i got was two inches. by monday we should be out.

Well I got out there today. I had a solid 3.5 to 4 inches all the way out to where I fished. Caught a few fish but nothing to keep. Sure nice to get out and watch the FL-20 and watch the bobber swim around the hole again!

a buddie and i were out on bell yesterday. went to the north side by the shallows of the point. walked out about 70 yards till it started to drop off a lil bit. looking down at the cracks buddie of mine was like look walleye. and sure thing there were 4 of them just slowly moving along in 4 ft of water i would say. we followed them for awhile and they stayed that close to shore the whole time.

I was out on winsted sunday spearing. There was about 3 1/2 to 4 inches good solid ice. Buddy had told me there was 5 or 6 portables and a bunch of people walking around on marion.

It appears we are in the middle of some very good ice making weather. Highs are in the 20's with lows in the teens and even dipping into the single digits. The extended forecast has this pattern continuing through next Wednesday.

I haven't made it out but Friday is shaping up to be the maiden voyage to a lake around here. It'll all depend on the ice conditions on which one I end up at, but they should be in pretty decent shape after these next few days and nights.

friday???? friday?? thats the opening of the icefishing show at river centre but i am planning on a outing on monday for sure.will be somewhere then just dont know where maybe even waconia. that would be nice. ... paul
