we got about 2" in Faribault. Wind blew it around pretty good. Ice seems OK for the adventurous types. I will be waiting another week or so before I head out ( i don't feel safe unless there is 8") below me  )

i think the snow blew pretty good so not much accumilation on the lakes . maybe some around shore but that should be it. last year we had a few inches on the newer ice and we still had a hard freeze!

Anyone been by Lake Frances since the snow? Just wondering if anyone is still fishing on the east end.

Snow depth on lake washington ranged from bare ice to "drifts" of 4 inches. Its pretty light stuff and shouldn't effect the ice too much, I hope.

i dont think this snow will hurt mcuh at all other then slow the ice down just a little bit i think we will be just fine

anyone know how much ice on west side of german on the weedbed wanna try the tip us,thanks look up charlie! i was there a week and a half ago walked out about 150 yards to the open water. there was a few spear houses out there recently.

Tetonka still has big pockets of open water. The only place that has been locked up for awhile is the east end.
