Stop short of Duluth,at Cloquet, take exit hwy 33 thru town to hwy 53, to hwy 2. Go till you get to Deer River.Just past Deer River turn north on hwy 46 to Northome, then to Keliher on hwy 72.straight shot to Baudette, where on the west side you can turn north to Riverbend hint:do not run short of fuel north of deer river!!! You will love the lake 2 :>)

i wouldnt go thru grand rapids.thats way out of the way.exit off of 53 north and take 33 thru cloquet till you hit 53 north again the stay on 53 north till you hit the truck rout just before international falls the road # is 332.then you come to a stop sign.take a right then your on hwy 11 straight shot to baudette.

dust sti: You will definitley have a good time at Riverbend. Yes they have Jag. It won't take to long to get to know Gordy the bartender.

Once you get into Baudette go straight through town, take a right turn on #172, which is right near the airport. Follow that road approx 11 miles. You will see the sign on your right side, also a sign for Adrians resort. Riverbend will be the second resort on your left, apprx 2 blocks off of #172 after you make the right turn. Post your results when you get back. Good luck and hang on. Bill

It is 23 miles further to go up 53. I have driven both ways many times, and from moose lake over to 27 to 65 still goes thru G.R.. And if you go up hwy 6 to deer river it is soooo winding you almost get dizzy. Also, hwy 11 west from international falls is very rough, slower than heck, and the drive up 53 takes you through lots of towns, making the ride longer, time wise.

Guys he is coming up through EAU CLAIRE WISCONSIN. It just might be fastest for him to go up 53 through Superior and Duluth.

no, duluth is quite a bit east of the cities so it would be a lot of extra miles to go west to the cities and then northeast back to duluth.

I would try to avoid HWY 11 if you can, however #6 isnt really much better.
