Hi Bill, long time no see. I'll be at Knife again this weekend and hopefully the ice will be safe enough to wet a line.
I'll post a report.

I may be there too. Waiting on a call from my brother. We will be going out the west side from one of the cabins. Only have to walk out a very short distance.

Davey, for some reason we just didn't seem to run into each other last summer. It seemed everytime I was over your way there wasn't much activity. Not sure when I'll get to Knife, lots of happenings before the holidays, and then off to LOW on 12/26. Shoot me a report stay safe, good luck.

Ron: Same to you. Good luck, check often as you head out. Bill

I haven't heard a peep on Ann yet this winter and haven't been over there myself yet. It should be fine for foot travel, but again I can't say for sure. If I hear something or head over that way, I'll be sure to let you know.

was on knife yesterday, very good ice (5"+), at least where i was, east side...tough fishing, but didn't mind, had a line in the water. Sorry no info on Ann, but as stated by Ice Heave, am sure it is fine for ice travel.

Sorry to hear fishing was slow for you, but like you said, you had a line in the water. Good luck on the next trip out!

Yea I go there all the time...Im probably gonna go out on knife this weekend, I don't have a ATV so I'll just be walking out from the boat launch near the Crow's Nest after I stop by Jerry's and get some Spikes

If I can get the wife to go, I am going Saturday also. We can walk out from the cabins. If I do go, I'll let you know and you could walk out from there if you are interested. It's on the west side and very close to fishing areas.

I would like that...Im going with a girl who won't be carrying much equipment so I would have to be the mule for the day. I know a couple nice spots but mostly wait until I can drive on the ice to access them.

Most of the crappies out there still small? I got into them last winter and this spring but there was no size to them.
