read back a page and you will see it is long lake in new brighton. I didn't go too far out, so don't think that it is 4" over the entire lake.

checked eagle lake in maple grove and it had about 6 on it by the south bay

Drove by Forest Lake on Sunday while headed to the Viking game and saw 4 or 5 tents out there.

Lake Elmo was wide open yesterday,i was real suprised

Fish lake North of Duluth now has 9" in most areas and most lakes in the Duluth area are reporting 8-9.5" of very nice ice.

Drilled a couple holes in Reitz lake near Waconia on Thursday and had 3" of clear ice about 100' from shore. Didn't see any tracks on Waconia yet and it looked like there might have been some open water in Turd's bay...there was geese in there.

5" on Belle and Washington north of Hutchinson.

Checked a couple small lakes in the southern metro and found 6". I saw some tents on Prior Lake and also open water.

I knocked off of work at about 2:30 and hit a small local gravel pit called Douma Park here in NW Iowa. Had 5-6 inches of Ice. It's only 14 acres, so it freezes quickly.

Does anyone know if lake elmo is still open? I hope it is!! lol. It helps my goose hunting. I was thinking of heading out in the morning. If it's froze over it's not even worth going out. Last week I seen lake jane was frozen over completly, then drove past elmo and there was a speed boat out there lol.

saw a lot of open water on tanners from 94. wanted to get out there tomorrow, but gonna head to battle creek instead.

I walked out on the NW part of Pike Bay today. 4-6" most of the way out, but (gulp!) open water in multiple spots several hundred yards east of the box factory access. Use caution!
