went out and checked the ice today and found 6 to 7 inches out there i think i might try get out tomorrow and sunday anyone else going out or have any luck this year yet?

Post a report if you would.. I have next hursday and friday off and i am thinking of going there after the traffic dies down... close to the house. Never fished it beforeadn frankly never fished any lakes in the metro b4.. so I am hoping it will give me a good start

Just been driving by checking the ice. I found 5 inches by the dock. I've been too much of a wuss to try. Hows the ice out of the launch area?

i havent checked the launch but the south bay had about 7 on it as of sunday in about 32 fow
