Not looking for anyones spots or even lakes, just wondering what depths in general have been good, and what times of day, or night has been best, pannies, walleyes, pike whatever, myself 4:30-5:30 has been best for sunfish, walleys, and crappies, 10 feet has been best, but as soon as its dark its been a dead sea. Crappie minnows, and waxies have been better for the eyes than fatheads for some reason.

I've been having decent luck with fatheads and 20' of water myself. Of course I've only been out twice so far...

I found river shiners, to work great, for pike and walleyes. Last night the eyes came from 6-8ft of water. Walleyes this morning(6:30-9:00)17-19ft, saved the smaller shiners 1 1/2" for crappies. Waxies caught the some nice perch 10"ers.

Tried a different lake tonight, and fished a drop off from 8-20 ft kind of a finger, nothing in 8 - 12 ft , a few dinks in 14 and then finally a 20 inch eye in about 16 ft took the smallest minnow in the bucket they seemed to like the bait just 2 inches from the bottom, looked like the bait was on the bottom till I turned the bottom zoom on, and realized how valuable that option is on the fl-20 think I should have went deeper yet like 18-20 ft maybe.

went out yesterday afternoon 2:30-6:30 watched perch all afternoon on the cam but couldn't get a bite. then just before dark a big nort came cruising in, when the dust settled everything was gone. (good time to put cam away) caught two 14" eyes around 5:15-5:30 then zippo. I had 5 1/2". I'm hoping for another 1-2" buy wed-thur to take wheeler, that's to for to to walk pulling a big two person with all the gizmo's and auger. maybe just not as young as I used to be.

Early morning and just before sunset has been the best times. Nothing after 5:30 pm. Seems like the fish just clock out and go home! My stepson did catch a nice crappie, 15.5" 2Lb on a jig tipped with the head of a minnow. He always gets bigger fish than me! #*%@!! mad
