west fox finally closed up out by the point east has been frozen for about 5 days.
not sure about eagle

fishing these lakes has been poor for a couple years.
they were hit pretty hard a couple years ago. crappies used to be 10"plus average, now you really have to sort to get a 10"!

The fishing on Fox for me was pretty good last year with the few times that I fished this lake. Caught some nice size Crappies. Caught a few nice eater eyes also. You just have to hunt them down. Thanks-WM

yeah looking at the maps there is alot of structure to search on the fox lakes.....is it pretty easy to move around out there in the winter w/o snomobile or atv......are there usually vehicle tracks to follow to get to the west fox lake?

Do not attempt to drive through the narrows between east and west fox! It does freeze over in that spot but the ice is usually very thin. West Fox is tough to access, unless you know someone. Some drive atv's off the road to the public access, where it goes between east and west. But no parking there.

Was up to the Emily area and had around 10" of clear ice Thurs thru Sat. Caught a 31+" and a 21" Eye wich were released and a dozen or so Crappies , made it home before the storm got worse -- WM
