2-3" last Saturday on Peltier. 3 guys were walking all over it pulling portables. Centerville was thinner. I am going out Friday. What time you going Saturday?

I was thinking about early evening, I am borrowing a buddies auger and heater for my portable. My 7 year old won a pole in the Centerville Ice fishing tourney last year and he has been begging to go out since he saw ice on Peltier 2 weeks ago. He does not quite get the conept of "enough ice" yet. I may do some scouting Friday if the wife will let me out, what time you going out?

Yes, the road and access along with the fishing pier are all open again. It looks really nice. They pretty much eliminated all the parking near the bridge with no-parking signs, but they did add a bike path which is nice.

Yeah, waterworks has been an eyesore since I was a little kid. That place is a dump that is open what, once every three months? Hoping to be in the area for a bit of fishing early next week.

For awhile there it was open on weekends, then he was going to do a haunted house in it, now I have not seen it open for months.

My buddies and I are going out on Peltier on Sat. We always have good luck early ice out there. I've already talked with Reaper8 about real time fishing reports out on the lake on Sat. and we exchanged phone numbers. I'm always looking for some more people to help one another find more fish, power in numbers, right?. Polarsusd81 if your going to be out on sat you should email me at onlyaddressleftonearth@yahoo.com and we can help each other out. If not, good luck anyway.

There are alot of good memories of the place for old timers when it was called the Twin Lakes Pavillion. frown It could be turned into a pretty nice place if someone had the money. Maybe Fishing Minnesota could get in the resteraunt business?? grin
The local lions put on the haunted house every year there.

Back to fishing:
Went out today at 1:00. The fish really turned on as it started getting dark(crappie)(I was the only one in my area). Before that is was a couple pannies and 1 nort.

What (area)road did he move to? Maybe by us.
Panfish and northerns are what peeps fish for on both lakes.
Walleye on Centerville if you know where and when to go.
