White Bear Lake east side open water from the tip of manitou island across to the tip of the peninsula to mahtomedi beach down to fir st. across wildwood bay and around the shore to county line rd. back across to the island. The ice was a solid 1 1/2" off bellaire beach and 3 inches in front of Kowalski's by downtown White Bear. Please use caution on White Bear this year.

garpod: in the ice fishing forum someone posted that turtle had four inches out to the ice heave, then two inches beyond that. dont know where the heave is but i will swing by after work and take a look

Harriet and Calhoun were wide open Nokomis iced over, I don't know how thick though.

KTapper, was that five inches in the western bay of Aligmanget? Or out on the main lake?
