I haven't been on Gervais, but if you go out on Spoon stay away from where the first responders were practicing. They cut a pretty big hole in the ice. See, it isn't always beacause of us wilcraft drivers.

Haven't seen anyone out yet on it. Is there any springs out there or anything else. I only fished it once during the summer but want to hit it more this hard water season since its so close to me.

There are carp holes at times. Especially near the road on the north end just off the docks. Most fish the south or east ends of the lake.

The carp wear a hole in the ice when they swirl. It is on the north end, I am not sure of the name of the road. It might be Little Canada rd. It winds around the lake from Edgerton to Cty Road C. Most of the fishing I have seen is not near that area. Most is off Kohlmann Ave or out from the beach.

When you can drive out, there are some holes on the north-east side where I have seen some walleye caught. On the south end in the deeper holes, I have seen some nice crappies caught and the perch in that lake give a nice tug to light tackle. I haven't had much luck with tip-ups, and the sunnies run small.

Yeah, there are some holes along the west side of Gervais, north of the beach, where you can catch perch until your arms fall off.
Tip-ups are probably fruitless. There are very low populations of muskie & pike in the lake, but chances of running into one aren't very good. I've spent a good amount of time on the lake (years ago) & I believe I've only seen one or two.
