A friend and I are thinking of checking out pelican and buffalo tomarrow definately bringing picks and wearing life jackets as corny as it may sound.

pelican is a solid 5 inches of ice everywhere i checked. but i don't blame you with the life jacket thing, no fish is worth your life

I saw wheelers on Pelican tonight, I would think it is a little risky to have a wheeler out yet.
