Drove by Lake Reno last night and saw close to 50 portable houses on the Northeast end by highway 29. What are they fishing for in that area?

What part of the lake are the 4 wheelers driving on Reno? Are people fishing out on all parts of the lake or just the NE by the public access?
Was thinking about heading out on the 4 wheeler this weekend, so any ice reports would be appreciated.

They are driving 4 wheelers in the NE Bay but there is a lot of open water by the access so be careful.

There's a pretty even freeze over the whole lake, except where there's moving water of course. Reno, seems to be the only lake people feel safe with so that's why there's a million people out there. There are a number of lakes in the area that have 6"-8" of ice. These lakes also have a lot less pressure and are kicking out some nice walleye. Less pressure = more fish. Good luck guys.

There are houses on the west side of the lake as well next to cty rd 15. They have been there for over a week now. I couldn't tell you if they are catching fish.

EyeGuide, you don't have a clue about fishing and what it takes to catch a fish! J/K Hey is Jed coming home this winter? I haven't talked to him in a while. I will be coming up your way real soon to hit some lakes, we should meet up.
