yep -- I heard about the same.

I did hear that a group caught a nice 27-incher and released it. Good for them, glad to see some people that use their heads for something other than a hat rack.

I heard 7 - 10 inches.

Obviously n o ice is ever "safe" But I have my house out on 9 inches right now.

Put 16ft perm out sat,9.75in. of good ice.Fishing was slow,a few bass and 23.5in eye. East end.

which is best, east or west, for walleyes that is? never fished either before but have heard good things! Any info would be great!

Brade, 13 feet deep,no weeds.Stop in and say hi,silver and green house. Saw 10 or 12 hoop-nets on the east end this fall,heard it is going to be netted out. Not as many fish as past years.

Bran, for walleye I would definitely say East. On West all we normally catch are crappie and bass. You might have a walleye hit every now and then.
