I've got a spearing trip planned to a resort on the river inlet for later in the week. Any word on ice conditions?

I didn't go out on the ice but I drove down to the landing (Trappers Road), and there were a half dozen house's out there in that area. I have heard that the ice was about 5 inches ... so I don't think you should have any problem walking out or taking a four wheeler if your brave .... I would be walking if it were me ... it isn't that far of a walk.
Be extremely careful .... ice can shift a lot this time of year!

Thanks bruceye. That's the landing we will be heading out on. Hopefully we can add another inch or so before Thursday morning.

Must be makin ice up there pretty good now. Are you getting close to 10 inches yet?? Might be sending the crew up this weekend out of the trapper road access with the snowmobile and sled loaded with 4 collapsables.

Going to McArdeles this weekend for some spearing. Any reports on ice, clarity and how the fishing has been? This is my first time fishing this part of the lake, we usually go to cut foot. Just wondering if anyone has any info.
