Does anyone know if you can get replacement parts at Cabelas or somewhere locally. I broke the on/off toggle switch last year. I know you can order them from strikemaster's website but I was hoping to get them a little quicker than that.

Thanks

Gaffers and C&S Supply are both warranty centers and can order any parts that you need for Strikemaster and Jiffy augers.
Both are located in Mankato.

No offense meant, but bait shops don't usually carry those parts. Any small engine repair shop that repairs Tecumseh engines near you should have the switch you are looking for. The ignition switch on these motors does not work the same as a normal toggle switch. When the switch is in the "off" position, the switch is "closed" meaning the connection is made. The switch "grounds out" the coil and removes the spark so the engine stops. You can use a normal toggle switch if you can put up with on being off and off being on.

I ended up getting the toggle switch from Strikemaster's website. Wasn't cheap ($23) but it's the right part and now I can finally head out on the ice. Thanks for all of your help !
