not mad; no apology necessary; i just needed to cleary state my feelings so as to not let the post go down the road of water vs. field rich, poor etc.

in my particular case, there was no effective way to hunt the water. large lake, open water 200 yards from shore, and no cover for a boat to hide in. it just didnt make sense from my perspective as to why somebody would try to hunt it? [/quote]

If ya open up a new spot outta the wind its a effective way to hunt that lake. couple robo's and ya really can crush em.

I've been in your boat Carp and still am, guess what, these guys could be doing this now till the end of time. Look for them to scout and try to hunt that every year from here on out. M.B
