I have fished Bad Medicine for the rainbows during the summer and love it. I also like the summer pike action on the lake. My question now is how is the ice fishing on Bad Medicine? I am looking for any info and hope you fella's can help me out.
I look forward to your posts

I talked with someone today and they said it is really tough to fish because of how clear the lake is. I heard plain hook is really the way to go. Did you fish the north, middle or south end of the lake? Those little bays on the south side produced some very fine pike fishing in July, white top water spinners were the best.

Check with the local CO, but I think they opened the entire state to winter trout fishing. That would include Bad Medicine and Hanson Lk on Hubble Pond.

Kinda a doemass. Becker Co lakes are still closed. There was a law change on wording of the trout seasons. That's what trying to read law changes on the internet will get you. Glad we have good COs in the area.

I appreciate the info about the trout. How about getting those eyes? Any tips for an ultra clear lake? Time of day? How deep? Is the public access on the northside the best on/off location? Do any of the resorts on the lake let you on the lake and if so which ones? I know I could call them but I would rather hear from those with experiance.
Thanks DaveO

I'll try this one more time. Any tips or hints for Bad Medicine and how to attack those eyes?
