I've got a 6.5x12 wheelhouse that I'd like to change the lighting in. I've got some lights in there now that use auto bulbs and I think they pull too much juice.
Any suggestions on types of lights that use less power and give a similar light?
The one's that I have now are similar to the ones that they sell on fishhousesupply.
I've got 2 group 27 batteries, but I'd like to add the tv this year and that's going to use more juice.
Also, is there anything that I can get to hook up to my truck to charge the batteries?

you could use a marine battery and put a solar charger on it.those chargers work very well.not sure if that will be enough juice tho.its just an idea.

Any ideas on charging the batteries from my truck? Don't they make some sort of deal that charges while you're driving?

If you leave the house out over night you can rig your truck for duel batterys then the truck would charge the battery during regular driving.if you get the RV kit for this it wont drain the starter battery when your using it for the fish house.
if you take the house home with you every time, I think someone makes a kit to charge a boat battery from your truck when the boats on the trailer I would think this would be a easy conversion for a fish house. good luck RR
