1 Go to wikipedia-look up Tom Joad read the whole thing

2 Look up Tom Morello and read his bio and look at other great tunes inspired by Tom Joad by Floyd,Red Hot Chili Peppers etc

3 Go to you tube and look for video of Bruce Springsteen and Tom Morello doing "The Ghost of Tom Joad" View the close up one from bruce not the hand cam

4 Check out Bruce's face as he gives a nod of admiration during the killer solo. Enjoy more than just a song, but a political movement that started in the dustbowl or even before that with the grapes of wrath and is alive and flourishing to this day.


The unlimited vastness of knowledge available at ones fingertips that our youth has access to every day boggles the mind. If we can only get them to use it we might avoid the next great dustbowl.
