There were a few posts like that. It is just a typo but after all pain of gas actually being $4.00+ I thought it was funny when taken at face value that people we happy about $159.9 gas. Shoot! I was happy when it dropped below $4.00. Bob

Still $1.79 here. No complaints from me though because it doesn't seem like it was that long ago it was $4+ Totally agree

I saw $1.56 the other day in Eagan. I heard E-85 is around $1.30 now. Hmmmm...How does that always seem to stay about forty to fifty cents below unleaded, regardless of pricing of crude and gas at the pump? What a crock!

Gas stations are either forced to lower the price of E-85 or have it sit in the tanks and go bad, since is is less effiecent than gasoline no one will buy it if it costs more or even the same.
Buy a Flex-Fuel vehical if you think that E-85 is the answer.
I got asked the other day if gas will fall below a dollar a gallon and said no way in heck will that ever happen, and then I thought back too this summer and I said gas will never go below $3.....

Yea what's with the jump of 10 cents? Oil has continued to decline. Has one of those gas tax increases kicked in?

Yea what's with the jump of 10 cents? Oil has continued to decline. Has one of those gas tax increases kicked in? The last increase was $.03 on October 1st. My guess is the Thanksgiving holiday and the 1st of the month had more to do with it. When all else fails, blame SA.

Went out to Northern Tool in Rogers yesterday and there is a truck stop out there that is selling regular for $1.63 a gallon.
The market sure can be manipulated! They haven't opened up anymore new refineries, they haven't tapped any new reserves of oil, you don't hear anything about a Caribou farting on the Alaskan pipeline so the price of gas has to go up 15 cents! I don't think that OPEC is pumping more oil out of the ground to keep the prices low?
Did the price of ethanol jump up with the recent increase (ThanksGiving week-end) in gas prices, I didn't notice? I suppose we'll have another increase around Christmas?
