I have rarley had luck on pearl during the day (for Crappies anyway) even if their is snow. But shouldn't be long before the stoplights are drilled into the ice.

Lots of 8-9 inch crappies being caught right at sundown. This lake could use a 10 slot min. for crappie.

Went out last night. Nothing. About 12in of ice though. I didnt have a measure with me but I think thats a pretty good guess.

Went out with Ryan, err, Navy Fishin, during the snow and cold on Tuesday night. We went in the middle of the group of houses and had an infinate beer to fish ratio. We were the only ones crazy enough to brave the cold and wind on a lake with no fish. This was the second time in less than a week getting skunked on Pearl. There is now a few inches a hard snow cover, but it is all even. Ice was 11 inches. Beers where cold and delicious.
