Any one been out? Went out on Irving tonight and measured 7.5 inches of ice, A few permanents out there also. Saw a few fish on the flasher, but no bites. Anyone else have any success?

Have not been out yet, and I will be in the cities this weekend working at the ice show, but I have been hearing ice reports from open water to 8 inches... I'm still in the very wary mode when going out on the ice...

I have been out a few times so far with limited success. Ice thickness varried from a solid 5 incehs to 9 inches on Upper Red.

Yeah, Bemidji still has quite a bit of open water, but I heard there is 5 inches on some areas.

No success yet. I also noticed a large area near diamond point on bemidji that was open. The most i have seen for ice so far is 4 inches. havent been on bemidji yet

If my eyes didn't decieve me, I saw some portables on the East side of lake Bemidj this last weekend. There was 2" off the Northwoods landing and that was only 15' out. It'll be a bit for that end.

Took out the binoculars today and saw a couple three houses on the other side of Bemidji from the school. Going to the ice fishing show this weekend and then it'll be game on for me.

Was on the north side of Bemidji yesterday. Still open water in the middle of the north end. Cought a few northerns and some small perch, no eyes. Not a whole lot going. 6 inches of solid ice, hope this snow doesn't stick. Anybody else seeing any fish in the area?

Went out on the south end of bemidji, east of the inlet, CLose to 8 inches there on friday, a few bites, but nothin to show for it.

4-5 permanents out on the south end of bemidji when i drove by this morning. has anyone heard anything on Larson or little bass lake?
