Was thinking of getting out this weekend, was curious to know if anyone has been out by Collinwood?

Well thanks for the help to I wasnt asking for a spot, fished there plnty caught plenty of fish, was just trying save the 2hr roundtrip from home.

it is possible that no one had an answer, therefore didn't reply. Just a thought.

I know but sometimes it is tough to get info in this forum. But I will be drining out theretoday so I will check a few lakes and let everyone know what I find.

I would love to give you some info but I am out of state for the holiday and haven't heard anything about it either.

As mentioned it is early yet and people are only getting out to selective lakes. I'm sure if someone has an update on the ice conditions at Collinwood they'll chime in, and if get out your findings will be appreciated as well. Thanks!

i was talking to a guy from work today, and he was saying that it was froze over, but if we got a good wind, by the color of the ice, it would open back up again!

Ventured out to Collinwood on Sunday and found 4 inches of ice right off the north landing. Heard more towards the point just froze over and is probably much less. Geese out there or something.

I have done very well on Collinwood in the summer for walleyes but not so well when the water gets hard. How about everyone else?

Was out sunday. I would say about seven or eight inches

how clear was the water?
