I have checked many lakes in the area and have not found any lakes with clear enough water to spear on..anyone else finding the same results

yeah i have also checked many of those lakes in that area. Havent found any that have been real good as far as water clartiy. There are many lakes out there i would get out there and start checking some more. Sometimes you just need to get out there and get the info for yourself

i would recomend swan lake by Silver Lake.. Got some nice fish out of there last year... Happen to stumble upon some sunken trees with what i could see with my underwater camera. Hope to find them again this year.

I fished Jennie a few times last week and it is pretty cloudy. I was surprised that I lost my pimple only a few feet down. Some years you can see the bottom anywhere on the lake.

i usta spear a ton our in this area when i lived out here. Always seems like it would take a long time for these lakes to clear up.
